I've been working for a quite a few days already for CPF
Initially, i thought i would be alloted to a CPF branch and working in a comfy air-conditioned place
It turned out totally different from what i had expected. My employer is still CPF but i have to work in a CC to assist people in filling up the forms for the new WBS (working bonus scheme) and answering the public's queries. Luckily the CC i was allocated to was juz a few mins walk from my house. The job is pretty slack too coz not too many people came to approach us. Made four new friends who were lively and chatty. So i am simply sitting at the booth, chitchatting and making money at the same time everyday. haha.
working there has also made me realised that there's still a pretty large group of low-income people in Singapore who are really pitiful. Met a man today who told me that he came out of jail last july and had worked for five months last year ( one month short of wads required to get the money). i still could not forget how he looked at me. His eyes were watery and his head slightly bowed. He spoke softly and his voice trembled when he mentioned that he got out of jail juz last june. I treated him as normally as possible as possible and helped him write an appeal form for the bonus. He looked at me in gratitude after i had helped him filled up and said 'thaink you continuously".
i had done something meaningful today:)
However i dun believe the bonus is enough to help these group of low-income families break their viscious cycle of poverty. And somehow, i think this bonus has something gotto do with the approaching elections even though it's politically incorrect to think this way.
I also had a funny encounter on the first day of work. would blog when i'm free again

I shall learn how to put songs on my blog next time
I finally went to register myself for the driving theory test today. Been mugging for the past weeks. But the earliest test is three weeks from now. Haiz, looks like i studied too early. I really hope to drive a porche one day.
Played badminton today. My bones creaked when i whacked, that's y i dared not whacked too hard. Think i would get threshed by my juniors if i had played with them today instead.
Went out in the evening with Kim Wee, Kim Leng's bro to the arcade. He's a pro. There are three reasons y he is. First, the top five timings for datona and some ferari game belonged to him. Secondly, his three bucks can last him close to an hour. The third reason is he's kim leng's bro, so he has got to be pro. Oh yea, he's in ri now. He scored 273 for psle.

I've been watching every episode of campus superstar.
Teresa simply rocks! Her voice is really soothing. Think i am addicted to it already and i'd definitely buy her album if she has one. The RI guy is good too. I support him even though i am from hwachong. His voice is addictive, but, too bad, he's out.
Below's a site to download teresa's performances.

Been working at night for this period of time as a telemarketer for a property agent. The job is quite challenging. I learnt what kind of voice people like to hear and how to make them talk to you instead of juz shutting you off. It gives me man zhu gan when i managed to make appointment. The sense of satisfaction is not juz because i have made more money, but to a larger extent because my sweet-talking has delivered.
Grandpa's health is recovering by yards.
