Watched SA dance performance at Kallang theatre yesterday. It was breathless! There's no single dance item that was not outstanding. Even the teacher's performace met the acceptable grade. Their dance club is way way much better than hwa chong's. It also filled me with regrets that I did not take up a form of performing arts earlier in my life. Performing on stage in front of many eyes should certainly be an exceptional experience. It also made me realized that a sense of satisfaction in life can be obtained not just from grades and certificates.
Life is measured not by the number of breaths we take, but by the breathtaking moments one had - Live life to the fullest

i really don't understand why the good ones get booted out while the horrible ones stay in jue dui superstars. I think those who vote are blind.
i've finished reading Harry Potter. Dumbledore died. I did not know that a book can affect one's feelings so much. I bet kids around the world muz be crying. Dumbly is such a fatherly character! I juz hope that the story would have a twist and that old chap actually faked death and would live in the end like gentle old gandalf in Lord of the Rings. Somehow, my guts tell me that Snape is on the good side despite what he did. I am really looking forward to the last book. I hope i would not be too old then to enjoy the last story.
Prelims are around the corner. Even the slackest people are touching their books now. A'level's touch man, I just hope i would have the drive to move on and not get distracted by other stuff.

Back when I was a child, before life removed all the innocence
My father would lift me high and dance with my mother and me and then
Spin me around 'til I fell asleep
Then up the stairs he would carry me
And I knew for sure I was loved
If I could get another chance, another walk, another dance with him
I'd play a song that would never, ever end
How I'd love, love, love
To dance with my father again
When I and my mother would disagree
To get my way, I would run from her to him
He'd make me laugh just to comfort me
Then finally make me do just what my mama said
Later that night when I was asleep
He left a dollar under my sheet
Never dreamed that he would be gone from me
If I could steal one final glance, one final step, one final dance with him
I'd play a song that would never, ever end
'Cause I'd love, love, love
To dance with my father again
Sometimes I'd listen outside her door
And I'd hear how my mother cried for him
I pray for her even more than me
I pray for her even more than me
I know I'm praying for much too much
But could you send back the only man she loved
I know you don't do it usually
But dear Lord she's dying
To dance with my father again
Every night I fall asleep and this is all I ever dream

the world would miss him and his songs
