I have been coughing badly lately, think it is bcoz of stress. I actually spent the whole of MAF night at home mugging...missed those childhood days when we carried our lanterns around the neighbourhood and played with fire. I suddenly remembered a song which we used to sing in pri school. It goes like this " moon is shining bright, along the riverside, ............." I have forgotten the rest of the lyrics, but if u noe the title of the song or has it, pls tag to tell me. It's a love song which I used to hate singing. But somehow, I have the urge to hear it again.

Went to ah ma's house today to have our dinner. I had a great shock when I saw the maid's hair - it's shorter than mine. ( I juz cut my hair and it's not longer than four cm). I tried not to laugh but she looked really hilarious. I found out that my grandma had gone for a haircut together with her and had asked the hairdresser to cut her hair thin so that it's easier to wash and cooler as well. It looks like it would take at least a few months b4 the maid's hair grows back to original length again. I have only advice for her...dat is to endure and try not looking at the mirror for the time being. :)
Actually my hair now is no much better too. I had decided to go for a hair cut on wed as my hair's simply too messy and too thick for combing. Instead of going to my usual barber, I "geikiang" and tried the new family salon at toapayoh central instead. The hairdresser told me that my hair's curly and has to be cut thin so that it would not look so curled up. She sounded pro but I felt abit uneasy somehow. She told me not to worry and said I would be satisfied in the end. So I closed my eyes and let her do the trimming. When I opened my eyes again, i found myself looking like the north korean's leader. She cut my hair so thin that it could not even be combed! Besides, the thickness was uneven. Haiz..I could blamed no one but myself for such bad hair.
Watched Grease 2 today. It was very humourous indeed.

This is my second time writing this diary entry. The first one got deleted accidentally. Went for MAF's celebration yesterday in the evening. Reached school at around six. The first familiar faces I saw was Cliff and Chris. Chris was as usual at the basketball court. Cliff was busy lighting up the lanterns which got extinguished as soon as he had lighted them. I was greeted by even more people as I walked around and felt really proud of myself for knowing so many people. Went to toilet and saw yu sin looking as handsome as ever and peng siang who was busy drying his sweaty shirt after playing ball. Peng Siang was damn funn. He said he would not leave the toilet until he was dry. I niao him that he would stink even more when he's dry. Walked around the school before the show started and was pestered by people to buy balloons for them and from them. One balloon cost six bucks.
The show started quite late. The first performance was by the lion dance troupe, if i'm not wrong. JZ really looked suave playing his drum on the trolley. I regretted niaoing him that he was a "wo_MAN" last time. Pearlyn's performance was commendable too. Nv tot she could jump so high onto the risky piece of table until I saw the performance. The next item was the moon-cake competition. Marc, Guan and Lide participated in it. I only saw Lide busily eating though. They got third but did not receive any prize. Wushu performed their item next which I thought was the most spectecular of all. They combined matrix elements into martial arts and really kept the audience capitavated throughout the performance. Chinese dance performance was sianz but luckily, dex, jason joined me during that time. More 4A peeps joined us and soon there was a big crowd of 4A "men" together. I missed Nelson's performance, sadly. They said it was not bad. Hiaz... I was busy chatting with people then. The finale of the whole event was the lighting up of the centre piece. It was a really beautiful sight to see the centre piece being set ablazed under the nightsky. The fountain was equally enchanting under the lightings, except that it stenched of kerosene.
69 then gathered behind the fountain. Ming Jie was there too. We played with fireworks and chatted b4 singing together as the councilors led us to one song after another. Our college songs rock and I think it really bonded the school together.
The day could have been perfect if not for jason who kept sprewing nonsense about me and making me damn paiseh. Had dinner with the rest of the class before returning home late at night exhausted.

Chem test today was pretty easy except for a few lame questions asking for the names of an unknown scientist and technician. Did all the questions myself. I have a feeling that i would do better for the chemistry test this time.
Had OCP after chemistry tutorial for a body checkup at SGH, much to the envious of many people. It also means that I can "pon" a few periods that I dread so much. I don't think anyone would detect my disappearance anyway. Went to SGH with Kah Hung. Talked all the way from Chinese High where we had lunch to the hospital. he asked me why i did not go to ACSI last time after PSLE. And I though how different my life would be if I had gone to the school instead. Perhaps I would not even be in JC now, probably in some polys. i also found out something about this guy. He's obsessed with boobs and girls, whether they are pretty or not. haha!
The checkup was pretty quick, though i have to walk from one room to another through the stages of checkup. Kah hung told me that he had the same checkup there b4 he went for his jap immersion programme. A rather pretty doctor checked my body at one stage... felt ticklish when she touched my stomach. Other than that, nothing particularly special happened.
Promos are around the corner. I really hope that the whole class can do well, like wad 4A did last time.

issac lim is damn good! If only I could have him as my permanent physics tutor... After merely a few lessons with him, i think my physics has improved by yards... I really hope to do well for promos.
assembly today was sianz... A speaker came to hjc to talk about the government and its policies. In fact, it should be called propaganda machine by PAP. But i dun think the speaker achieves her aims in the end as she was being "shoot" many times by the opoosition, Arts faculty. She looked pissed near the end of the Q and A session and rather pleased when it finally ended. I wonder wad she would say of HJC when she returned to report to her boss. A haven for opposition wannabes? probably.
had an interview after school today with Mr Choe regarding PW. I told him how it wastes our time by making us write minutes and written report and how rigid its questions are. Juz hope that he would not be my judge at the end of the year coz he knew too much about how I faked in minutes.
walked home in a drizzle today.

i juz realised that i did better in tests when i answered the questions myself... scored full marks for the maths test and did resonably well for econs and physics test when i did not ask people... strange huh? Reward for honesty?
Tue used to be the day i dreaded the most... but somehow, it turned out quite well for me today.
Jokes can really brighten up your day. i have to go for tuition now...brb... cant wait for maf to come...

played badminton yesterday with ted, jason, jack, eric and yewtong and had great fun... i have yet to master the deceptive stroke by peter gade... but i believe i would be able to do so day and try it on ted... haha
I am addicted to another tv serial, jue shi hao ba, shown on channel U every evening at twelve... love the theme songs in that serial. Cantonese songs are so nice...but too bad, i dun understand and speak the dialect... i would try to learn it one day. ( provided I have the time)
I still have around two weeks b4 promos start... I seriously think that students in Spore today have no life... I also think I have chosen the wrong sub combi... realised that my fav subject all along is geography.... but i took sciences instead... I dun think i would be able to make a u-turn now...

went for toapayoh east cc badminton competition yesterday... and the draw was me against kim leng. I had a nasty feeling that the whole thing was rigged. Most of the adults played with young kids. I thought I would gain XP by playing with them. But when i knew my draw, I was so disappointed.
Saw nauriza and company at the CC. I hate to see them because they were so pro... With them looking at me play, I thought I am definitely going to lose again even though I would be playing with my pal Kim Leng. Yep and the game started with me trailing 3-0. But somehow, I managed to overcome my distractions by telling me that no matter how I played today, no matter how they laughed at me today, they are not going to affect life after I stepped out of the court because I would not be seeing them again. Even if I see them in the future, what can they do to me? I won the match in the end... Even though I did not play my best, I was glad that I was able to put out a fight and displayed some of my skills instead of giving the points away mindlessly due to unforced errors. Hope I can play as well next year...No more jitters...yeah!!!

I am falling in love with JY's novels again... Juz finished watching yi tian tu long ji. It rocks. The lead actor and actress have perfect eye-to-eye chemistry too. In fact, I look forward to every onscreen appearances by both of them. I muz say that they are on par with xuqing and li yapeng ( the actors in xiao ao jiang hu china version). I dun think i can get enough of the show, i am going to rewatch it someday again...
JY's novels really amaze me sometimes. How he incoporated different elements of life into his novels! His novels are not juz about sword-fighting, but about love, hatred, kinship and stuff as well. How love can turn into hatred and vice versa, how intriguing human feelings are, how one's eyes can speak a thousand words... How true indeed! Looks like i am becoming a "xing qing zhong ren" le.... haha! But i really learn a lot from his novels.
